Pastor Donald Stone and his wife, Stacy, have lived in Allentown for thirty years and have been active in LVPC that entire time. Pastor Stone is a native of Levittown, NY and received a B.S. from Penn State University, a Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a Doctor of Ministry from St. Vladimir's Russian Orthodox Seminary. He and Stacy have three daughters. Don is passionate about the church's opportunity to pray for and serve the surrounding community for the sake of Christ and the advancement of God's kingdom.
Elder John Harley and his family have been members of LVPC since its inception in 1980. He grew up in Venezuela and lived there over a 20 year period. Elder Harley graduated from Covenant College in 1973. While working in Venezuela he met his wife, Patrizia, a native of Italy and they were married in 1979. They have five adult children. Elder Harley and Patrizia are both bi-lingual and have a deep interest in all things “Latino” as well as foreign missions. Due to Elder Harley’s commitment to LVPC and a parish concept, the Harleys purchased a home and live three doors from the church.
Royce Seifert has been a Ruling Elder and the Treasurer of LVPC since 1989. His hometown is nearby Hellertown and he was educated at Muhlenberg College in Allentown, receiving a degree in Economics/Accounting. After five years of public accounting in Philadelphia he returned to Hellertown and became the Vice President of Finance at Lehigh Valley Cooperative Farmers. In 1995 Royce transitioned into education and taught history and accounting at Lehigh Valley Christian High School, retiring in June 2015. Royce and his wife, Jeri, a public school teacher, live in Bath, PA.
Angelo Caggiano has been serving as a deacon since 1990 and has been a church member since 1982. He is a graduate of Mount St. Mary's University and the Art Institute of Ft. Lauderdale, and the former owner of Caggiano Studio, Inc. He is employed by Cat Country and WLEV Radio. He and his wife Sherry reside in Schnecksville and have a son Max, an officer in the USMC and daughter Dominique, employed by Penn Med in Philadelphia.
Doug Schaffer lives in Allentown and has worked in the automotive parts industry for over 35 years. He became a member of LVPC in 1991 and has served as a deacon since May of 1998. He is thankful to God for his family and friends and for the love and fellowship of the members of LVPC.
Phillip Hansell was born and raised in Lansdale. He graduated from Kutztown University with a BA in Business Administration in 1981. After working for years in the real estate business, he attended Hahnemann Medical School and received his certification as a Physician's Assistant. Phillip and his wife Patricia were married in 1990 and joined the church shortly thereafter. Together they have raised four wonderful kids. Phillip has been a deacon since 1995. He has a natural aptitude for all things mechanical and hopes to retire some day and become Mr. Fixit.
Chuck MacDonald was raised in Boston and moved to Pennsylvania with his family as a young man. He returned to Boston to study and received his degree from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy. He and Karen were married in 1981 and have raised eight children. Chuck works as a pharmacist in Bethlehem and has been a deacon at LVPC since 2007.
Donato M. Giaquinto was born in Bethlehem, PA and was raised in Roseto, PA. After high school graduation from Pius X, he earned a B.S. degree in biology from Albright College. He then earned a MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University with an emphasis in marketing. He has been in the financial services industry for more than forty years. In 2006 he and his wife, Joan, opened Compass Rose Investment Services, an independent financial brokerage firm that operates in conjunction with LPL Financial Services.
Joe Michener and his wife, Kristina, were born and raised in Allentown. Joe graduated from Covenant College in 2003 with a Bachelors in English, and from New York University in 2006 with a Masters in Journalism. Joe has worked as a manager in the hospitality business and as a teacher at the college level. He has also spent more than 10 years providing vocational services, and he currently manages a program that helps young people with disabilities obtain and maintain employment. In 2011, the Lord blessed Joe and Kristina with their daughter, Elia Grey, and in 2014, their second daughter, Lyla Elise.
